“Below the Surface” at Corey Helford Gallery.
Currently showing at Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles, California is the Caro curated group show “Below the Surface.”
“Below the Surface” invites visitors and viewers to look beyond the facade of the included work and focus on the symbols and metaphorical power of each piece. With work by artists such as Sylvia Ji, Benjamin Garcia, Chloe Early, R. Leveille and Tom Bagshaw opportunities to ignite ones imagination of what lies beneath are almost endless.
The show is on display until March 19th, 2016.
Casey Baugh’s Light in the Darkness.
New York City based artist Casey Baugh must have some intimate knowledge of light at night that all of us are otherwise unaware of. Within his work we are gifted with sublime portrayals, often more divine than actually experiencing, of nightly scenes and the softness, solitude and selectiveness that only exists in darkness.

Kevin Hong, Illustrations.
I’m loving the classic Squaresoft RPG vibes from these pieces by New York based illustrator Kevin Hong. He’s got a Tumblr, too.
